I would like to use my 7" pad (and4.1) as a monitor to view analogue AV output.
I was hoping for an OTG or USB to AV adapter and some app to drive it but I cant seem to find anything
Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum

I don't think what you are trying to do, as I understand it, won't be possible. You would need a host controller port. Many Android tablets can output in some form but not input.
