Hi, I have this Apad iRobot 8" inches Rockchip RK2808+ Android Tablet
firmware version 2.1 eclair
kernel 2.6.25 spreadwinversion 1.1.9 (PA08_ms)
build number RK-1.3.2.eng.tastteam.20100927.182232

I want to upgrade to a higher version, like \APAD-GINGERBREAD-update3
I have the RKAndroid_ENG software which should flash it, I have the image that I want to try to flash it

The problem is that anywhere I look for guidlines, to enter bootloader mode I have to toogle the power button on/off, and this case model dosen't have one (the power button is a push one type)

Do anyone now how to activate the bootloader mode without that toogle power button?

Can I flash this apad in any other way?
How can I backup the firmware for this type of apad?

Thanks in advance

Nevermind. For this type of apad (without a toggle swich button) to enter recovery mode (aparently not bootloader) you have to hold down camera button then press power.

So I manage to try to make an update with an image (APAD-GINGERBREAD-update3) that I found somewhere and my apad is now nicely bricked
