Bluetooth Passkey

I was trying out the bluetooth configurations between my Hauwei S7 and other devices like a Palm PC, and when I tried to connect to the Hauwei, I was prompted to input the PASSKEY for the Hauwei. Where can I assign the passkey, or how do I discover it for my device?

BTW- I'll be connecting a bluetooth GPS when I can get one.

Try 1234 or 0000. It is usually one of those. Otherwise a lot of times you have the option of entering something on your device, and then entering the same on the other device.

I used 0000 for the PIN, and 1234 as the passkey on the Huawei, but it couldn't connect, saying "either PIN or passkey was incorrect. I'm fairly sure the PIN was correct. The setting for the Huawei passkey must be buried deep somewhere. That is probably why so many people have been asking for a comprehensive user manual for the Huawei S7.
