Can anyone help me?

I have a TF300 and would like to root it, but Im on update .29. I don't want to brick my tablet, so can anyone help with EXACT step by step instructions and where to find. I hear there is a way to root and still get OTA updates. I would appreciate the help so much.
Also is there to unroot in case you have to return it or get it repaired? Thanks.

I do not have a TF300 so I cannot say specifically that this will or won't work, but here you go on how to root:

If you do not unlock the bootloader and keep the stock recovery, you can still receive OTA updates. OTA updates will break root, but you can use OTA Rootkeeper to back up root, remove root and restore root before and after updates.

Be sure not to uninstall any stock apps (just disable them) so the new OTA updates will work.

from what i read u cant root with fw 29 u need to go back to fw17.and root
