Can't find characters asked for when opening a G-Mail account

Hi,
I'm a newbie. I just purchased a Coby MID1125 Tablet. When trying to open an Google E-Mail account I have a problem with the portion that asks for the "Characters in the Window" I don't see or can't find characters in a window. I stopped and tried numerous time. I just can't find any window with characters. Can anybody tell me if this is something that I'm doing wrong or something with my connection? . . . Thank You . . . Worse case scenario, you could always set up your gmail account on the computer and then use the login information on the tablet.
