Hi,

I am trying to set a wallpaper that I copy to the sd card but I notice that when I browse for the pictures to select the file and I select the image is making me select a region of the image even when the image is 800 X 480 and when I do region and try to expand it doesn't let me select the whole image. The selection or crop box expand proportionally (like square) what is the default resolution of the augen 800 X 480 right ? What should be the wallpaper size ? Could LaunchPro has anything to do with this ?

Thanks

Size is 300x170 L or 160x200 P are you Linux, Windows or MAC? Image as to be re-scaled down but keeping the image ratio the same. It seems that the image is smaller than it is shown.

There are some better pant tools to use. To center in the image.

Please try 800x800 if you want a full screen wallpaper for all orientations.

you need to get your wallpaper on to your home screen. Several paths, all alike:
  • Long click on a blank part of the home screen and click on "wallpapers" and "Select wallpaper from...Pictures" on the menus that pop up.
  • Run the Gallery application, navigate to show the picture you want on the whole screen, then select "Set as..." and "Set picture as...Wallpaper"
Android now pops up your picture with an orange box to let you crop the wallpaper. This is Dumb. Your image is 640x480, but Android wants you to take a subset of it. Don't do that, since it will then expand the image and make an ugly, pixelated mess. (Google: why doesn't this default to the size of your screen?!)
Instead: slide the orange box to a corner of your image, then touch and drag the opposite corner until the orange box covers your whole image. Finally, click the "save" button. You will get a "saving picture" alert, then a "setting wallpaper" alert, then finally a new home screen wallpaper.
Enjoy!

hi, i tried what you explained, but I can't seem to drag the corner of the box to cover the whole image. Is there an app that will resize the image to fit the 10in epad?
thanks
