I don't have a 7036, but I am pretty sure just swapping the kernel will allow 7048 to work on 7036.

hey i use quick boot then it is a CWM based revocery v6.0.1.1 for Coby Kyros 8048 but i use 7048? lols but works smooth? haha

8048 and 7048 same recovery, just format nand in recovery to fix your problem.

Hey Vampire this CWM-Based Recovery v6.0.1.1 For Coby 8048 by Vampirefo

i install this 7048_recovery_signed then i was shock this is for 8048 but works fine \m/

then itry to mount the /nand

mount and storage

Mount /nand (the message show below Error mounting /nand!

then i try to format

go to mount and storage

format /nand

YEs - Format (message below Skipping format)


Then my brother said try to unroot the device to fix the 2nd Internal Partition(SD CARD) if the problem was fix try to root again

If your computer, cw recovery, and the tablet itself can't format nand there is nothing I can do from WV.

I would have been clad to, due to recent theft of my work and the person publishing it here, I am going to stop all support for Coby products. I take the hard work I put into these devices seriously, and really only ask if someone uses my work, not to claim it as their own, but to simply give me credit for what I have done.
