The unveilment of the new DELL 10-inch convertible netbook with an unusual swivel mechanism. Rather than mounting the entire display with a horizontally rotating hinge, the screen flips vertically inside the bezel. Once the panel is facing the opposite direction, the netbook/tablet can be closed, and presto, you have a touchscreen tablet with a hardware keyboard stashed under the hood.

The Inspiron Duo incorporates a dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor, with Windows 7 Home Premium aim to launched sometime later this year.

Further research with my sources at Dell show this to only be a WIN OS device. It might be possible to port to Android x86, but no plans at this time

It would have been much more practical to make the reversible screen fully detachable, so that the keyboard/frame/ports could be used to convert the unit to a netbook.
