A couple of weeks ago I posted a link to an early build of the Media Player that will be integrated into Honeycomb. In playing around with the player there is a new feature listed that currently doesn't work, but has some interesting implications.
If you look through some of the other new screens in Honeycomb, on the Data & Synchronization Screen not only does it add an option for Picasa Web Albums (about time!), it also includes a new Sync Music option. Does this mean we will finally be looking at Android/Google having an "iTunes-like" capability? Or perhaps this will integrate into Amazon's MP3 Market?
Either way, there obviously is some sort of plan for integrated hooks into a central music service, one can only hope that it stays in the build!
