Very new to android devices. Experienced iPhone user.
Got a Viewsonic gtablet. ..

Where's the magic?

Since I'm not a tweeker or rooter, did I step into grounds unchartered. Am I out of my league?
Easy features ie copy/paste aren't available - the webcam has no functional abilities. ... no video conferencing.

Any suggestions?

It is a giant snowball...starting from a small one. When I got my first one I wondered the same thing, but now I don't even bring my $1700 laptop home with me anymore.
