I know it says you can watch 720p video on the device, but when I downloaded a HD video from btjunkie and it was a compatible format, it said it was unable to play video. How can you watch 720p videos on here?

What was the format? Most of the torrent downloads I have experience with are an AVI container with MPEG-4 ASP video and MP3 audio, or MKV container with H.264 main profile video and AC3 audio.

Neither of these are compatible formats. Has to be H.264 baseline profile video and AAC audio in an MPEG-4 (.mp4) container. H.264 main profile video may play back but frequently stutters.
