Hey,

I'm not 100% new here. I've been doing a lot of reading, but I guess most of the people who joined the forums did.

I'm a dumb phone user but I needed some intelligence for studying. To have a notebook with me all the time is just too much so I decided I'd go for a tablet, 7", with a high resolution(1280*800), so I can easily look up websites like wikipedia, dictionaries and other stuf. My first experience with an android device... Let's hope in the end everything will work like I want it to! :)

That's how I ended up buying my Onda V712, which seems to be the perfect tabletfor my purpose. I've used it just a little bit. Haven't fully personalized it. Came across a big problem when updating to Jellybean and decided I had to warn the other users here who have a V712. Links to topics of somebody who helped me out a lot:

Jellybean totally drains my battery, even when charging. I haven't been able to look for a solution yet but I will and I'll share my expierences.

So that's it for now. Hope to learn and share a lot :)
