Joined a few days ago. I'm really interested in making a well informed purchase. That's the reason I joined here. I haven't purchased one yet due to all the sub-par tablets being sold at the moment but, hopefully I'll find a good, reliable source soon.

well sub-par is an opinion and comparing a 600 dollar ipad to a 100 dollar tablet the cheaper one will obviously appear sub-par but what you need to do is figure out what you want a tablet for and how much you want to spend on it. i have bought several tablets for different purposes and different prices and have been happy with each. i actually started a thread about places to buy android tablets you can find it here http://www.androidtablets.net/forum/android-tablet-discussions/242-great-places-buy-tablets.html it has some great info, hope it helps. and welcome

I use this apad as personal 411 assistant to look up phone number & menu of a pizza shop online without using my laptop, and surf the webs.
