Got the VTab today... Rooted with superoneclick...what would I need to do to block or turn off that nagging OTA upgrade?

Download Titanium Backup and freeze the update.

Once you have TB go ahead and make a back up while you are there. It is always a good idea to make a periodic backup.

well...I guess I did a newb mistake. I use anttek's app freezer instead of titanium and now after reboot I am at the dreaded blue triangle. dang.

Reboot recovery factory restore and try again

I did a factory reset....do not see option for a restore...blah....well, only one in que before for support now..hehe

They will replace it. I but with a tab with. 57 sooo no root

Well...The tech asked me to "Let it drain down all the way , then charge it and see it that fixes it." I was not confident with that solution so after searching I found a .57 update.zip and I am back up. No root, oh well. Maybe someone will figure that out with either .57 or with the next update. Thanks everyone for the assist!
