imito im7 problem with sandisk 8gb SDHC card

It should work, several shops even sell an im7 tablet with 8gb card, and there are no 8gb sd cards unless they are hc, class 2.

So, why doesn't my im7 recognize a sandisk 8gb sdhc class2 card?

Well, now it seems this piece of crap stopped reading sd cards alltogether. It cant even access the old 1gb micro sd I originally put into it.

There hasn't been any physical damage to the device or the sd port. Can someone help? Am I missing something or is it just crappy, very low quality item? I don't understand how could an sd port die like that.

It's crap, mine is 3 days old, I waited over 2months to get it, it worked for 45 minutes and it won't charge, so now it's dead I guess. Let me guess you got it from nowsupplier??

Finally got mine to charge, needed a 9volt charger.

My 8g sd card is a class 6 and I made sure it was formatted Fat32, then turned off the tablet, insert the sd card and then turned it on. It worked for me.
