i use 8pen on my droid phone - it is a unique way of typing using one finger essentially - i just installed in on my tablet - it hasa learning curve but once you get used to the new convention it goes pretty fast

you can find it via AppBrain - 8pen - Android app on AppBrain

I tried Swype but either it does not like me or I could not get it to understand my input. I am back to finger or stylus.
