well,
check if you downloaded the right firmware (HY or normal)
and check if your download might have beeb corupted.

The M701 tablets come in three "flavours":
first release 2 GB uses Samsung chips
first 4 GB tablets used Micron chips
The 2GB Gingerbread firmware is supposed to work with both of them.
newer 4 GB tablets use Hynix (aka "HY") chips
The 4GB Gingerbread firmware is JUST for that tablet.
