Is It Possible To Have Two Screens Open At Same Time?

I'd like to have Google Maps and Google Music player open both at the same time. Even if I could minimumize the music player controller (play, next, repeat, ect) and have maps running would be very cool, with out actually having to switch screens. Is this possible ?

Android 7.x and later have multi-window support via the recently used apps list. So it can be done, but results may vary. You'll have to try it out for yourself.
