it`s possible to disable side buttons of Kyros 1024?

every time, when i ws reading books, or playing, i tap on this buttons. How can i disable them? i only need the back and menu buttons.

People will help when they can but you have to give them a chance. Even the old information can be useful. Did you follow up on the suggestion to find the file in /system/usr/keylayout and put a # in front of the keys to disable using a file manager like root explorer?

use titanium back up, then disable the search and browser, also if u have link2sd theres an option to disable the search and browser.

edit: please dont be so harsh if no one is answering questions, maybe the persons that know the answer is not online or available at the moment, as far as i know the people here are helpful.

I dont get back here often. that thread Mharckk linked will tell you how. to disable the volume up and down button, just let your Kyros slide off the coffee table and onto the hardware floors. permanently disabled now.. lol. glad to have on screen display in teh HC rom.
