Locked out (sorta) of my TF201 Asus Transformer Prime tablet

I turned face recognition on awhile ago and now it is getting pretty flaky as I lose weight. So it only lets me in sometimes and other times I use up all my tries and I have to reboot the tablet.

Anyway, I guess it asked me to set a pin when I set up the face recognition as a backup, but I don't have any idea what the pin is. I have no memory of even setting one up.

So once I am inside the tablet, I can't turn off the security features because it asks for my PIN, which I do not know.


Can anyone help?

I would just like to turn security off. I miss the swipe to camera function.

Hi John. You got an answer on the other forum where you posted. But I suggest that one of your apps, possibly your anti virus may have taken administrative control of the security. I assume it isn't actually asking you to set a PIN?
