Does all of the touch aspects seem slow or just the pinch to zoom

Most of the time when in the Browser app, I can use double tap to zoom in or zoom out 
. Just tap twice quickly on the screen (like a double click on mouse).
Seems quicker than pinch to zoom, and I have some trouble with getting the zoom to the right size with pinch to zoom anyways. Seems to shrink after I take my fingers off. I thought that was just me being retarded....

No it's not just you.
I think a large part of it is the multitouch resistive screen, coupled with a lack of any adjustment.
We're stuck with the old "tap and fumble" methods i think.
I've certainly been there trying to size the stupid page and it's always one notch too big or one notch too small. Frustrating.
