Need some help, hopefully this is the right section.

I have a 1024x600 Filemate Clear x4.
I downloaded Tubemate app, and when I download a video I get several options, eg, 320x240 all the way up to 1280x1080.
Right next to the latter is says "for high end devices only".
I was wondering if I download a video that high quality, will that do damage to my tablet?

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum

It probably wouldn't do any damage at all but I would expect it to play properly and a resolution that high is a waste of space.

Hi CaptainKidd, congratulations on your new FileMate tablet and welcome to the forum. Nice of you to become a member of Android Tablets.

There'd be no point downloading a higher quality video than your device is capable of playing. As Lee pointed out, it would take up much more space on your tablet for no reason. It might also cause stutter during playback, but shouldn't hurt your device.

BTW The place for questions specific to devices for which there is no forum is the Q&A section. I'm moving your thread there for you.

Enjoy the forum and your tablet!
