Nook color on CM10 browser problem

I just grabbed myself a nook color (rooted), but im facing a problem with the browser
I was just testing the wifi yesterday, when the browser got stuck at loading the page at about 80% and then, it didn't recover at all ... No buttons were working, neither the on/off button. I had to wait until the battery got used to 0% in order to turn itself off. Did someone else experience this problem? I will try another browser, i think.

mlegs, that is not usual but it freezes do happen sometimes. All you have to do is hold the power button for about 10-15 seconds until the device turns off (keep holding the power button and the screen eventually goes black). Then press the power button for about 2 seconds to turn back on like normal.

I hold the power button for a few seconds .. but not 10 seconds

Just keep holding and eventually the screen will go black and turn off (but it should definitely be less than 30 seconds so don't hold it all day ).
