Problem With Repeater Connection To Android Tablet

I have a Nurvo 10.1 android tablet. Since installing a wi-fi repeater to enhance my signal I find that when using the tablet the wi-fi connection frequently goes off and I have to reconnect. I cannot find any solution to this problem. Can anybody help please? I also have a laptop and this has no problem with connection.
