Recommend a Diagnostic App?

I have an ASUS tablet that is a few years old and is taking longer and longer to load apps, and often it starts loading an app and then stops and says it is not responding. Is there an app you can recommend that runs a diagnostic and fixes problems for tablets like there are for pcs? Recommendations appreciated.

Welcome to the forum

I'm not certain what type of diagnostic you think would help. You can get an app called CCleaner from the Play Store that will clean out some deadwood/cache. You can also get something like Gsam Battery Monitor to see what's consuming battery but Android tablets and phones tend to slow down over time and they don't operate like a PC.

You didn't mention which ASUS tablet, which might make a difference but ultimately you may want to consider a factory reset. Save what data and media you can either on a PC or in the cloud first.

Copy off you photo`s ect, write down your passwords and do a reset to factory settings, and they take your time putting your apps to see if one is causing your problems, if you still have problems with zero apps installed it must be a hardware fault, unless you have flashed or rooted it wrong.
