[ROM] Indonesian Android 2.2.2 for Dual-Camera S7 S7v100R001C98B021

Hi guys, I might as well as this in this topic: is Indonesian the newest firmware available?
I'm from poland and i use : S7v100R001C98B022 version.
Which is better? IS there any firmware (official or custom) which is worth trying or its proven to be best?

Went to Telstra T-Tab over at Melbourne . They had 1 stock , bought it. Went home , the first thing i did was to upgrade it to 2.2.2. Thankfully the instruction posted here worked fine and I was able to upgrade it to 2.2.2.


I know some of the people have posted saying that it breaks the upgrade , so on and so forth. I highly recommend you to follow the guide and I am quite sure that it will turn out to be great.

Alas , just letting you know that S7-104 (Telstra tab) works with this firmware upgrade

lol telstra want you to HAVE to buy motorola xoom.

its a marketing gimmik to get people to try tablets and say... if only it would ....internal storage ect..
then migrate to a more premium product.

this is the 2nd report S7-104 Telstra bricked caused by flashing Indonesian ROM.

i don't know if it is just coincidence or incompatibilty ROM, because first report says


for Telstra user please use S7V100R001C13B115 (thanks to the goodoane for providing link) , until someone reported succesfully flash indonesian rom.

Thank you for your advice. It worked great. I am a novice and it took a couple of trys to get there. I tried formatting my micro SD from my Vista laptop with an adapter and it never recognized it so I put it back in the S7 and copied the download directly to the card in the S7. I followed your directons and wala, it is now Android 2.2.2. As you warned, the data is gone from the tablet, it came up like it was right out of the box. No biggy, I just had to set up my e-mail accounts and go get my applications from the Market. I brought down Flash Player and it works beautifully. I was a little worried when the RSS widget displayed with Chinese characters but everything else was in English I depend on this site for support on my 3 devices and you haven't let me down yet. How do "non-techies" survive in this environment without you?

I can't help you get out of your fix, but for others reading, the progress bar went to the max twice on my S7 before the OK displayed. Luckily I let it keep going until OK displayed. I guess waiting for the OK is a critical step. After the second power-up it only went thru once before showing OK. It would be nice if Huawei would publish instructions to us "non-techies" to upgrade and continue to enjoy their products so we didn't have to hunt down the how-tos on Google.

You cen simply install this custom ROM on your device. You dont need to find exactly "S7V100R001C61B010 " version. You can install any firmware from any region for your S7.
