Okay, I have been researching a week, and I am more confused then when I began, can somebody give me some advice. I have approx 150-250 dollars budgeted out for an android tablet, but I know nothing of how it works or the best one to get at a bargain price. I am a novice freelance photographer and am looking for smaller machine to travel with, instead of my laptop. This is what I am looking for it to do: Word processing, skyping, surfing the internet, facebook and temporary storage of photos and short videos, that I can later transfer to an exterior thumb drive or the like. Has anyone got any advice for me? Up to this point I have always owned PCs, with Windows operating systems. I understand that there isn't a lot of software out there for Android, that I get, and I'm not really in need of that at this point, I just want a simple compact machine that will fit into my budget. The Ipad is a little steep in price for me at this time. Thanks for listening.

Hi Bonnie, I'm moving this thread to the Android Tablet Discussions area for you. That's the best place on the forum for "shopping" information when looking for a new tablet. Hopefully, some folks will discuss the tablets that would suit your needs with you over there. Good luck!
