I bought my Coby 7015A to see if I would be remotely interested in a tablet w/andriod on it.

Well I am, so I'm thinking about buying a better model, with better customer support. I'd like to stay under $500.

So what would you buy?

I was originally going to buy a 7015 and suddenly the new models were announced and I waited and waited for therm to become reality. Finally got tired of that and got a NOOKcolor. I love it and B&N actually cares about it's customers. (+ Sue is getting a NOOK, so you'll be among old friends over in the NOOk section of the forum.:))

Yep, I am waiting for my Nook Color to arrive. It's about $300, give or take. If you get it from QVC you get EasyPay (4 payments of $84), a leather case that doubles as an easel, and free issues of 34 different magazines. Not a bad deal. Plus, the NC has flash, will run Netflix, Zinio, and lots more. I think you'd be pleased with it. :)

Very nice, that's the kind of thing that would make you feel good whenever you turn it on.:)

I think I'll keep the 7015 for awhile, see what goes on sale after Christmas.... It's still fun to use, and gives me NO problems so far. I'm just filling it up with the Amazon free paid app of the day stuff, having fun with that.

I love Toshiba. It's the only company I'll buy laptops from. They are well made and I've had no real problems. I had a hard drive die once and their tech support was top notch. They sent me a box and a prepaid label. Sent it in, got it back 4 days later. I was looking at that tablet and it seems like a good one.

True built like Russian tank! But that's OK, as I love the dock, the full size ports and the full size SD card slot. I've bought Tosihba products for years. Never a problem and Walmart has it for $368.00.

An 7015A user and I bought the ASUS Transformer... it rocks. Zero problems. $399 anywhere. Also bought the keyboard dock for another $100.... sweat.......
I'm still going to use the rooted 7015 as the 7" is more portable than the 10.1"

I'm torn between the Toshiba Thrive and the Acer 10.1" Iconia. Any thoughts? I've decided to unload a netbook and a Ipad and that should cover the purchase.

I guess the dock for the Thrive isn't really much of a dock. I like the design of the Acer, but I've never owned one of their products, so I'm really not sure which to pick.
