Android 2.1(Eclair) is a lower down operating system compared to its predeccessor 2.2(Froyo) . The two biggest upgrades that 2.1 doesn't have, is the graphicall capability and 2.2 has the ability to have flashplayer 10 on it for all the video pleasure of the net.
