Can I run Spotify on my Android 2.2 tablet when I get it?

Depends on the device. There are several HTC devices, Google, Huawei and Sony devices that are currently supported, and they claim to be Android friendly. If you have a Spotify Premium account I would say get your hands on the apk and give it a try.

Tested it and can confirmed that Spotify is running fiiiiine on a aPad tablet
