SWYPE on my GTab

I finally got my GTab where i want it except for not having a working swype program. I am running the CM7 build, which installed smoothly. Swype is the latest beta version from their site. Since it is not a native app in the build i realize some tweeking my be needed. I can get the swype keyboard to come up, it will show the trace but never input a single letter. Any ideas on how to proceed??? I will send a note over to the swype to see what they can do.

I do want to thank all of the dev's, and many members for answering the many questions that i have thrown out here. I hit the thank you button often, and contribute to beer funds when able... cheers

Take a look at the slide-it keyboard, works a treat and I am swiping text right now.

I am thinking that I should uninstall the SWYPE prior to loading Slide it.

You can, and certainly a good idea if you don't plan on using it, but it is not required.
