Hi, I would like to buy my first tablet for this use:
- read pdf documents including colour graphics like maps and plans or pictures
- GPS with maps
- small and handy to put it into big pocket of small bag
- use of cards or USB for flash

So far I have found these 7 inch tablets:

- Acer Iconia Tab A 100 (only 8 GB??, weak battery?)
- Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1010 (possible upgrade to Android 3.2??)
- DELL Streak 7 (possible upgrade to Android 3.2??)

Which one would you recommend?

I thought about Archos but it has some problems with bubbles on display.

Thank you very much.

I have the galaxy GT-P1000T (telstra model) and they have said no upgrade :( so mine is 2.2.

I have navigon loaded on it for GPS, adobe and thinkfree office for PDFs and it works really well. I don't use it as a phone at all and only have wifi and bluetooth turned on when I am using them, the battery lasts me 2 days on average. The downside of the Galaxy is it has a non standard charging connection. I have found a car charger for it but they are harder to find than micro USB ones. Samsung do make a car mount which is good if you are going to use it for GPS.
