Wow, that is great news! I've been seeing "Froyo in January" and trying hard not to get my hopes up. Maybe it'll happen one way or the other.

Well after reading through the thread, I see they are booting it off the SD card, like you would if you wanted to run a dual booting/dual OS device. Not quite what I had in mind but you have to start somewhere. We a team gets a working recovery, then we will be close to a custom rom.
