teathering Tablet to Phone to use ineternet is it possible?

I have a t-mobile wing that i can teather to a laptop and use the internet. Is it possible to do the same thing on the tab?

root is needed but gottahavit over one slate droid relased some scripts for swapping your tablet in and out of ad-hoc use them at your own risk

I am doing things a little out of the Box... I Have AT&T MYFI that i use with the Pad and as soon as my ATT Contract on Iphone runs out i plan to locate a SIP Service for use on the pad as a Phone.
