Welcome aboard. The most important things I can suggest is research, verify and maybe wait. If the "itch" has not gotten too bad. There are three price zones
1, Less than $200USD, Older slower processors -Functional as E-Reader and Browser Usually Android 1.5 or 1.6, Poor or fair support, and barely adequate for Videos
2. ~$200-250USD, Better units, Android 2.1 or maybe 2.2 Still poor to fair Support, but Video is better
3. >$250USD+ Even Better units, Latest units and potentially good support.
