I'm going to be purchasing a cheap (under $100) Android tablet from an upcoming vacation and would like to have the ability to do basic web surfing when away from Wi-Fi hot spots. I can currently do the basic stuff on my cell phone but would like a larger screen. So, is it possible to attach a SIM card to a tablet via USB somehow? I will not be using 3G, just internet through phone towers, so I don't want to buy a $80 mobile broadband dongle, then pay an outrageous amount for service.

Or, is it possible to link my cell phone and tablet via Bluetooth for web access?

Thanks!

BTW: I'm new here, so I hope this is the right place to post.

I bought this tablet today: 7" Google Android 2.2 Tablet PC Netbook WIFI MID Camera | eBay

I heard you can tether a 2.2 Android smartphone with 3G to another device running 2.2. How do I do this? My sister has a Android 2.2 phone with unlimited data. Hopefully I can "borrow" some of her internet on a long road trip.

C'mon Netflix! Android instant streaming app...!

Haha, this is a pretty dead forum...
