Video Playback: WITS A81E

I'm using Any DVD Converter to rip the files on my PC. What is the optimum conversion settings (format, size etc...) for full screen playback?

What player are you using? I have discovered different results depending upon the player.

I have Daniusoft video converter and I have the option of converting the video file to archos 7 H.264 format

Might take a look at Daniusoft. I'm currently using MP4 with a resolution of 720x576

Call it a bias, I have had issues with Real and their plays since about 2001. Soooo, I use Meridian and Rock for my A81-E. I do not have issues. I am using the 1102 Firmware.

I use H.264 and also X-Vid. I use the 720x576 using MediaCoder to transcode

Just found out Real Player download now includes a converter for mobile devices that optimizes for playback no Real Player mobile.
