Warning Regarding Use of Cell Phone Chargers

My Samsung cell phone charger no longer works. It died after being used to charge my VTAB1008. The standard Visio charger is a 2 amp charger. My VTAB1008 apparently overloaded and damaged my 1/2-amp cell phone charger.

Wow, 2amp I have a dual USB charger I use in my car that 1.2a for a iPad and .5 for a cell phone.

Chargers are pretty cheap. I'd error on the side of caution and get one made for, or meeting the specs, for the Vtab. I just bought this one on ebay:

That charger is only rated at 1 amp, you really should get one that is rated at 2 amps.

Sounds like a good idea. The EBAY ad says it is made for the Vizio Vtab, but you never know. Do you have a link to a 2 amp model?

Most adapters rated for the iPad put out 2 amps. I like Scoshe products. Watch out for dual USB adapters that put out 2 amps "total" these usually put out 1 amp per port.
