I just installed the device check disabled version and it works fine. Coby Kyros 7024, running Android 2.2, stock machine, no root.

I meant reboot, guys. All the same, looks like you all are seeing some success.

I also just installed the netflix-devicecheck-disabled.apk version, and it ran fine. The audio out of the built-in speakers is REALLY quiet. I didn't have my ear buds around, so I didn't check that, but I was able to stream video great. I already had Flash Player 10.3 installed; do I need this for Netflix? Thanks, everyone, for posting this info!

10.3? Where do I get that?

Edit: I found it. Can't wait to try Netflix BTW!

Looks like an update has been rolled out that not only makes the app more stable, but it removes the original device check that was causing all the problems in the first place. If anyone has a supported device, could you pull the .apk from the market and post it somewhere? I would like to try the new version on my 7024. Thanks!
