Home Button Slow or No Response

We have had the VTab about 4 weeks.

When the Home Button is pushed, it frequently does not generate an action.

Many times it will finally display the active apps icons only and with another push of the button finally goes to the home page.

When we first started using this Tablet we do not remember the lack of response or the active icons display as the first response.

Is our Tablet failing gradually or has an update included the above?

mine does that occasionally. hasn't really been a pain in the arse for me though. i'd imagine stopping running but unused apps might help, or perhaps clearing some cache - they tend to grow sometimes

Are you using the stock launcher?

Yes.

But, I have added a few free games, Dolphin HD browser, Sygic GPS, Docs 2 go, and Quickpik apps. Also have installed a 16g External SD card with some pictures on it. But I have not been able to correlate the response to a specific app running.
