i have a sylvania tablet and want to root it so i may use the android market instead of the slideme thing. anyhow can you direct me to the best instructions to do so. and h ow to get the apk file. im a noob and lost...

Ive been lurking and found nothing with CLEAR instructions. I need all info. The proper apk file, the process of doing the root, and any other helpful info. A link to the post you speak of would have been nice.

Thank you so much. I don't normally do stuff like this. Its not even for me. Its for a good friend of mine who know less than me about electronics which is bad bad bad. Thank you again. I hope I don't ruin his tablet.

actually, you'll need a card to download apk from whatever market, but if you can grab the 32 g its fine, I got a 16 g working well on my tab
