    This applies in particular to the HSG X5A/X5A+/MID7005.

    While firmware tools allow for the firmware from one device to be used on another, there are differences in the hardware that will render your tablet useless if you use the wrong firmware. There have been multiple revisions of the OEM hardware, so the firmware may not actually be compatible. Differences in ROM size also matter.
