Is the difference between the XX25 and XX26 form factor? 16:9 and 4:3... Has anyone seen release dates? I'm really enjoying my 7015 but an upgrade wouldn't be out of the question.

I'm waiting for my 7015 from QVC but I'm looking into what the 1025 has to offer. This will be my first tablet so I'm very excited. Did anyone see how much ram it has. I didn't see it.

From their web site looks like all of them will be 4GB. Our MID7015 is our first tablet and we're both enjoying it, mostly me. :)

Androidheadlines.com says no release date yet but the company says around March... pricing looks good. I think they will be nice. Time will tell.

While I was looking for specs on the 7015 on cobyusa.com, I noticed the sidebar showing new models:
COBY - MP3 & Portable - Internet Tablet

  • MID7025: 7-inch 800x480
  • MID7026: 7-inch 800x600 (pic looks wider than the 7025)
  • MID8026: 8-inch 800x600 (pic for this looks even wider)
  • MID1025: 10-inch 1024x600
  • MID1025: 10-inch 1024x768 ("iPad killer" - whatever ... ;) )
The specs do not list dimensions or weight.

The 7/8-inchers have resistive screens and 4000mAh batteries, and the 10-inchers have capacitive screens and 4800mAh batteries (should have long runtimes).

All have 1Ghz Samsung S5PV210 Cortex A8 CPU's.
For memory, all list only "Flash/Built-in 4GB/Expandable up to 32GB", so that must be internal storage (wonder how it "expands"...), but no RAM info.

Looks as though they are trying to take on Archos (all list HDMI 1080p/720p output).

I did not see anything about availability date(s), retailers, or pricing, but I would guess the current 7015 and 7005 models will be showing more discounts (Walgreen's lists the 7015 for $150 minus a penny in this week's Sunday circular).

OOPS! I see this has already been posted (but I have more details ;) ):

Found hint there for pricing/availability on androidheadlines.com:

I would assume from them having a 1ghz cpu they would have 256mb ram. They might go to 512 but something inside says they'll go cheaper.
