I'm looking for good Bible apps for my Archos 70 Internet Tablet. I've already downloaded all of the free Bible apps, but I'm looking for something with more features.

Does anybody have Bible apps for your Archos tablets?

I'd like to have several Bible apps, one for when I can connect to the Internet, and another for when I don't have access to the Internet.

what free ones have you tried? because there are a grip of free bible apps. I use reveal reader, also if you want a feature rich app try lds scriptures app it is 15 dollars but it is full of features and it has the king james version of the old and new testament

Here are the Bible apps I've tried so far on my Archos 70:

-- AcroBible Lite
-- And Bible
-- Audio Bible Lite
-- Audio Scriptures Lite
-- Bible
-- Bible
-- Bible
-- Bible
-- Bible for Android
-- Bible KJV
-- Bible Speech
-- Bible Study Tools
-- Bible Touch
-- Bible with Dict.
-- Bible.is
-- BibleReader KJV
-- BibleScope (this one I bought, but couldn't get it to work!)
-- BibleTet
-- CadreBible (can't get this to work)
-- CC & RC (very good!)
-- CellBible
-- DailyBible
-- Handy Bible Reader
-- Holy Bible
-- King James 1611 - World English Bible
-- KJV Bible
-- KJV Bible
-- KJV Red Letter for CadreBible
-- KJView - King James Version 1611
-- MyBible
-- Quick KJV Bible
-- Scripture Mastery App
-- Touch Bible

The best ones out of these I'm keeping:

-- Bible (Bible for Android, version 1.1, Created with the help of brosix.com)
-- Bible (YouVersion)
-- Quick KJV Bible (Bible for Android, version 1.4(43) rev 361, yuku 2009-2010)
-- Bible (no information)
-- Bible.is (audio Bible, different languages; v1.5.1, Copyright Faith Come By Hearing)
-- CC & RC (Christian Creeds & Reformed Confessions)

Bible.is is a very good audio Bible for my Archos. A real human voice! I tried several other audio Bibles, but the sound was absolutely terrible (android voice bad quality!).

I'm listening to Ecclesiastes with music in the background! It loads slowly, but once loaded, works well.

Wow you have tried a lot of apps

Sent from my incredible using Android Tablet Forum

Youversion Bible does multiple versions AND offline, so it's a must have. It's also the only free one out there with a some decent modern translations.
Bible - Android app on AppBrain

Crossconnect ties into sermons of DG, and also has audio capabilities
CrossConnect Bible - Android app on AppBrain

Sermon Audio has some good stuff
SermonAudio Android Edition - Android app on AppBrain

Campus4Christ (C4C) Gospel tracts (if their stuff is okay to you)
God Tools - Android app on AppBrain

Will try CC&RC, and maybe stash Bible.is (but Crossconnect works good for me)
Cadre has some good free addons (Matthew Henry?)

I have 537 apps on my Archos! I'm still in the process of testing them out. Already have found several that froze my Archos, so I deleted them.

Thanks. I'll give those a try ....

Well the only you didn't try is Crossconnect and Sermon Audio. But I think you have the most important one (to me anyway), which is Youversion's Bible app already.

CC&RC is really good. I wonder why it has such a low download count. The interface is really polished too. Maybe no one knows creeds these days?

Many people seem to really not 'know' what they believe. They think they know what they believe, but are too quick to just follow whatever others are doing, like clones!

It's amazing just how Biblically illiterate so many religious people really are.

Do you have the links for Crossconnect Bible and Sermon Audio?
