Can a rom add support for mounting USB drives (MicroUSB Host)?

The "hiPad/ePad" chinese tablets (Froyo 2.2) can automatically mount USB drives ...

How about Ideos S7 with a custom rom?

Yes, I can mount an usb drive with q5 usb mounter, but not "automount", I mean, plug the usb drive in and it will be mounted in automatically.
 
Any idea for an "Udisk Mount Service"? this is the reason that chinese tablets can automount usb drives...

S7 Slim ROM supposed to be support automount USB disk by VOLD service.

but somehow this automount does not work.

I really hope a custom rom with auto-mount usb drives.

EDIT: I'm trying a chinese tablet and it have a better USB support, if I connect an usb mouse, it works perfect, in S7 it works like the dpad.

usb mouse wire/wireless is working on my rom.

usb HDD also working.

as well as it should be working in mine, i use tri_zet's boot.img & kernel. (which enable it)

I've tried with 3 different mouses and all works like the thumbstick, up/down mouse movement works like u/d thumbstick movement, l/r too. On chinese tablet, if I connect a mouse, I can move an arrow pointer, just like Windows.

EDIT: I'm using tri_zet's rom too...
