connected to wifi no internet connection

I have turned off the router and back on. Same thing. I have tried the things u have suggested on here still nothing. My son has on too and his works perfectly. so does my phone lap tops etc.
It was working then just stopped. I have an IP address. i have rebooted the only thing i haven't tried is a factory reset, but that would erase all data and i don't want to do that.

Please help me i am going NUTS!!!

Welcome steelfan. I wonder if you have checked the thread that's linked to in my signature below regarding WiFi issues. Just because other devices connect does not mean your Android device will. You may need to put fixed IP and DNS information in your WiFi settings on the tablet. If all else fails find a public WiFi hotspot to see if you connect to that before throwing your tablet against the wall.
