HDMI Android???

I'm new here and would like to ask if anyone here who knows if the Anderoid tablets with an HDMI port can be used as monitors.
those who have the models can you please confirm if it is possible.

do you mean plug something into it and use it has a screen for that device? because if that is the case then no but you can hook them up to tv's

Yes i meant, using it as a screen to play some external input. I thought HDMI is a full duplex interface by default, so they have locked that function.

It's a HDMI OUT, not HDMI IN!
