How to delete email address

Hi, I set up an email account with my android tablet and now I need to change it... so I need to take the first one off and input the new one, how do I do that? Also can't seem to find where to log out of gmail on the tablet HELP PLEASE!

you need to go to Settings->Privacy and reset your device. Due to the way android works, the gmail address is pretty tightly integrated into the device as a whole.
