Is there an easy way to test if you're ROOTED

I've been reading through this forum and have downloaded the utilities to connect my KRYOS to my PC. Still waiting for my micro SD card which was shipped separately from the tablet and now won't be here until Monday so I haven't tried using Z4ROOT yet.

I noticed that some members said their MID7015's were shipped ROOTED.

Is there an easy way to test if you're are actually ROOTED or not?

Thanks,

Bob

Load the app Terminal Emulator. Open it, type such, enter, if you see #, you are rooted.

Run z4root and there will be no second guessing!

I loaded the Terminal Emulator and all I get is a blue screen that says [export PATH=/data/local/bin:$PATH] with no way to type anything.

Does that mean I'm not rooted?

Thanks,
Bob

when you do get the soft keyboard up type su and hit enter then pbrauer said if you get a # sign then you are rooted or you can just download a app that requires root like titanium back up or wireless tether for root users and see if it pops up with the option to allow super user access

I'm learning, after toggling the soft keyboard I typed su and got [uid 10027 not allowed to su] so that proves that I'm not rooted.

When my micro SD card arrives I'll load z4root and finish the job.

Thanks for your help everyone.
