A Samsung Galaxy Tab3 runs 200 dollars in US and is a great tablet for basic use for a student. If you want something for battery life and performance, Try a Nexus 7 $200. If you want a multi-tasker and power. Check out the Galaxy Note Tablet $400.

As a student, I would consider a Samsung Galaxy Note, such as the 8 or 10.1. I have both andthey excel in many ways.

Sent via my Note 8

Do the Chinese sites feature BLACK FRIDAY specials?

If your choice is Chinese, RK3168 beats the Allwinner A20 overwhelmingly. Furthermore, I believe that the power and performance advantages of Rockchip's newer RK3188, after further optimization, have become even more apparent.
With twice the performance, only half the power consumption and the same price range, Rockchip is definitely set to dominate the dual core SoC market for private label tablets.
